OUR STORY

My idea of a great vacation is seeing a place I haven't been before. Preferably exploring it on foot or human powered vehicle. Finding quirky breakfast places, good coffee, local produce and art, great meals and a friendly bar to hang out in the evening and share some stories with the locals and other visitors. Not for me the shopping complexes, spas and manicured resort beaches. Watching the kids fish on the jetty at Omapere, now that's divine.

Adventure Cycling trips across America have been my passion for a number of years. Exploring the history of the small towns along the way, always with an eye out for a good barbecue place. Grew up between the UK and the US, and have lived all over the world. I now call Hawaii home.

Always planning my next trip overseas, I've enjoyed spending time at home the last couple of years. And why not? Life in Auckland, New Zealand is pretty good. There's always something to do here, great restaurants, great wines, and then there's rugby. Need I say more?
